New Year Brought in by Multiple Drug Arrests

 

Sheriff Marty Moss announced that on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, Law Enforcement Officers of the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and the 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Don McSpadden’s Drug Task Force concluded a joint operation between these agencies which ends a yearlong investigation that has led to the issuance of warrants of arrest for 38 different offenders.  A mass drug offender arrest operation throughout Cleburne County named Operation New Year was conducted resulting in the arrest of 21 drug offenders on numerous felony and misdemeanor counts with the assistance of the following additional agencies: Arkansas State Police, 20th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Quitman Police Department, Pangburn Police Department, Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Heber Springs Police Department, and the Izard County Sheriff’s Office.  The following listed suspects were arrested in the first phase of this operation with additional arrest pending.

Bradley Shane Collins, age 27 of Heber Springs, charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Felon in possession of a Firearm. Bond set at $50,000.

Bobby Summers, age 32 of Pangburn, charged with Possession of More Than 9 Grams of Pseudoephedrine, Bond set at $5,000

Braden Liles, age 25 of Heber Springs, charged with Delivery of Methamphetamine, Bond set at $15,000.

Carla Jo Ivey, age 48 of Heber Springs, charged with Possession of More Than 9 Grams of Pseudoephedrine, Bond set at $5,000.

Christopher Justin Michael Taylor, age 26 of Heber Springs, charged with Possession of More Than 9 Grams of Pseudoephedrine, Bond set at $5,000.

Dewayne Acree, age 49 of Heber Springs, charged with Delivery of Methamphetamine and Delivery of Marijuana, Bond set at $35,000

Audley Jack King, age 56 of Heber Springs, charged with Delivery of Marijuana, Bond set at $5,000.

Joey Lee Thomas, age 30 of Heber Springs, charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Klonopin), Bond set at $15,000.

Kelly Zimmerlee, age 36 of Concord, charged with Unlawfully Purchasing More Than 9 Grams of Pseudoephedrine. Bond set at $5,000.

Michael Bommarito, age 28 of Drasco, Unlawfully Purchasing More Than 9 Grams of Pseudoephedrine, Bond set at $5,000.

Mary Louise Thomas, age 29 of Heber Springs, charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Klonopin), Bond set at $15,000.

Michael Sutherland, age 21 of Enola, charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, and Delivery of Marijuana, Bond set at $50,000.

Pamela Davis, age 46 of Mount Vernon, charged with Possession of More Than 9 Grams of Pseudoephedrine, Bond set at $1,000.

Shane Leech, age 26 of Mount Vernon, charged with Delivery of Methamphetamine and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Near a School, Bond set at $25,000.

Teddy Joe Ballard, age 21 of Quitman, charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms and Delivery of Marijuana, Bond set at $50.000.

Timothy Stuart, age 21 of Heber Springs, charged with two counts of Delivery of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance (Bath Salts), Bond set at $100,000.

William David Truitt, age 33 of Wooster, charged with 4 counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine and 4 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance near a School, Bond set at $100,000.

Jerry Haggins, age 37 of England, charged with Delivery of Marijuana and Revocation of Probation.       No Bond

William Whitaker, age 37 of Quitman, charged with Possession of More Than 9 Grams of Pseudoephedrine. Bond set at $5,000.

Raymond Hill, age 30 of Quitman, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver, Possession with the Purpose to Use Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving While License Suspended, Bond set at $5,000.

William Justin Doss, age 36 of Heber Springs, charged with Failure to Appear on Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Bond set at $ 50,000 (Cash Only)
