At approximately 7:15 pm on the 29th day of May 2010, officers repsonded to a possible drowning call at the end of Harrelson road in the Peter Creek area of Greers Ferry Lake. When officers arrived they were told that 35 year old Bruce Gray of Drummonds TN, had fallen from the cliff and into the water. Boaters in the area responded to calls for help from other individuals on the cliff and were able to locate Gray and pull him from the water and begin CPR. Arkansas Game and Fish officers arrived on the scene by boat and transported Gray to meet an ambulance for transport to Baptist Medical Center in Heber Springs, AR. Life saving efforts were unsuccessful and Gray died as a result of injuries recieved from the fall of approximately 125 feet.
