Theft, Drugs and Tresspassers

 

On January 19th, 50 year old James Bogard, from Higden was arrested and booked into the Cleburne County Detention Center charged with Breaking and Entering and Theft of Property. An Arrest Warrant had been issued for Bogard following the investigation of an incident reported to the Sheriff’s Office in March 2011. Bond was set at $15,000.

At approximately 6:30 PM, January 26th Deputies were dispatched to a residence near the White County Line in Southern Cleburne County, located at 400 Pickens Mountain Road to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle parked near a shop at that address. The complainant had last seen the vehicle, a small green Ford sedan, leaving the area and traveling North from Pickens Mountain Road. While enroute to the call Deputies Justin Thurman and C. J. Hallmark located and stopped the vehicle on Good Springs Road near Pine Snagg. John Burger, a 44 year old Parolee from Pine Snagg was arrested and transported to the Cleburne County Detention Center, charged with Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine). Bond is set at $5,000.

Shortly before noon, January 28th, Deputies were dispatched to a cabin located on Skylark Road near Prim. The caller reported that when he arrived at his cabin that morning, four males had run out and fled the area on four wheelers. Deputy Scott Jones and Sgt Andy White located and detained the four males shortly after receiving the call. The four, all juveniles, were charged with Criminal Trespass and transported to the White River Juvenile Detention Center in Batesville.
