LARGE METHAMPHETAMINE BUST

Agency's work together to make arrest's, and take over half pound of Methamphetamine off the streets of Cleburne County along with over $6,000.00 in cash. It all started when Trooper Brent Bittle with the Arkansas State Police, and Officer Clint Vaughn with the Quitman Police Department arrested and individual at a sobriety checkpoint for possession of a stolen gun, and possession of Methamphetamine. The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office and the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force continued the investigation along with Trooper Bittle, and were able to make more arrest and seize an even larger amount of Methamphetamine. The street value of the Methamphetamine is considered to be around $65,000. Arrested were Oscar Diaz Aguirre (2-22-83), Gabriel Martin (11-22-67), and Tommy Clayton Lacotts (12-04-60).
