Missing Property From Lake Lane Theft Recovered

Saturday, October 2nd, the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a Residential Burglary at 604 Lake Lane in Heber Springs. The residents, Lee and Sue Noble had returned home at approximately 10:00 PM and discovered that someone had entered their home through a rear door and had taken a number of pieces of gold jewelry, watches, a flat screen television, an antique nickle plated revolver and at least three antique cameras. Total value of the missing property was estimated to be ten to twelve thousand dollars. During the initial investigation it was learned that a tan Chevrolet pickup occupied by two females had been stuck in a muddy area in the immediate area of the burglary and that the truck had been pulled out by a local wrecker service. Using information provided by the wrecker driver, Detectives Phil Burnham and John Hendricks positively identified both female suspects. On Monday October 4th, one of the two females, Brittany Young, was located and taken into custody at the Probation and Parole Office in Searcy. A large ammount of the missing jewlery was recovered from Young  at the time of her arrest. Following Young's arrest, Burnham and Hendricks identified a male suspect  also believed to be involved in the incident and developed leads that led to a residence located on Pleasant Lane in Cabot. Shortly after noon, Tuesday October 5th a search warrant was executed at the residence in Cabot by officers and investigators from the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, Lonoke County Sheriff,s Office and the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office. Along with addittonal property taken from the Noble residence, a white box trailer, which with contents was valued at approximately $10,000 stolen from Noble's neighbor was recovered. Young is being held in the Cleburne County Detention Center on charges of Theft of Property and Residential Burglary. Bond for her was set at $75,000. At this time the two remaining suspect have not been located.
