On March 14th 2014, Cleburne County Sheriff's Department Narcotics Officers and Criminal Investigators along with officers with the Little Rock Police Department conducted a joint operation that resulted in the seizure of 2,040 grams (4lbs. 4ozs.) of methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $204,000 at a residence on Firehouse Road in the Hopewell community of Cleburne County.

Cleburne County Narcotics Investigators have completed, and submitted affidavits for the offense of Drug Trafficking (a class Y felony) to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for 48 year-old Rodolfo Valdez of Rosebud and 44 year-old Christine Halton of Hopewell. Both Valdez and Halton are currently being held on $200,000 bond.
